Can ordinary 2D video or photos be converted to 3D?
A
Ordinary 2D video and photos can be converted into 3D content through the conversion software and viewed in 3D.
MOPIC provides AI-based 3D-conversion technology that analyzes the shape, motion, and structure of a video or image to generate a depth map. Using that depth, it then creates the left-eye and right-eye images to reproduce binocular disparity.
Because this process requires real-time computation, the conversion quality can be affected by the characteristics of the source footage and by HW performance, including the GPU.

Note
